Grace Manor is the consummate B & B, Dawn the consummate hostess and Albert the consummate host! I adore staying in B & B's and have experienced a great many lovely ones all around the world but nowhere have I found more attention to detail and more willingness by the hosts to meet every foreseen and unforeseen need and want. Dawn's breakfast was a masterpiece and Albert's charm and skills in serving it a delight. The location in the Fan District is fabulous - I was almost convinced on my early morning walk that I had been transported back a century or two to a truly charming era. The Manor itself is marvellous to experience and Dawn and Albert have achieved the miraculous in so quickly bringing it presently to its past glory - and doing so in record time. However, the alacrity with which they have furnished the Inn has in no way sacrificed good taste and pleasing reults. Each room is more breathtaking than the one before. Staying at Grace Manor is a wonderful way to simultaneously experience the graciousness of the old South with the friendliness of the new South. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend the Grace Manor Inn.

Our B&B Suites
Our rooms are offered for $150 - $225 per night with a two-night minimum stay Fri - Sat. We accept single night reservations Sun. - Thurs. All of our rooms are appointed with luxurious amenities.
The Fensterer-Davis Suite:
This chamber, which is the largest and grandest in our Virginia Bed and Breakfast, has stunning red walls and is decorated in warm red and gold fabrics. It has a queen-sized, flame mahogany bedroom set from the early 1900’s, which gives the impression of stepping back in time. Even so, there is still a television set squirreled away in the original steamer trunk closet above the large dressing closet for those who like to enjoy modern amenities.
The beautiful and spacious sitting room, which connects to the bedroom, has a Victorian sofa, chairs, and a desk. It also showcases a ‘wall of art’ featuring a collection of period-style paintings in gold-gilded frames.
Both rooms have ornately carved fireplaces. The sitting room fireplace is a working fireplace.
The Fensterer-Davis has its own bathroom with a claw foot tub that is original to the house and a separate shower stall that was considered to be a modern convenience in its day.
Also unique to this suite is a private balcony overlooking historic West Grace Street. Enjoy an early morning beverage on your own private terrace.

The Zimmermann Suite:
This suite has pale pink walls and is decorated in rich pink and sage green fabrics. It has a queen-sized cherry bedroom set with French antique night stands adorning each side of the bed, as well as a small French desk and two carved antique rosewood chairs. An ornately carved cornice hangs on the wall behind the bed and is decorated with textured, flowing fabric.
The sitting room has a large, leather-top, French desk and features a comfortable, sage green, tub chair and pink marble coffee table. A television is tastefully hidden in the antique chifforobe for those who enjoy modern amenities.
This suite has a personal bathroom with a claw foot tub that is original to the house and a newly added shower ring. Its large windows provide a stunning view of West Grace Street. This suite is dedicated to
William and Louise Zimmermann who originally dreamed up this magnificent home.

The Carriage House:
Originally, the first floor of this dependency served as the Carriage House for the horse and buggy, with the sleeping quarters for the carriage driver and horse caretaker located on the second floor. The second floor apartment has now been renovated and offers guests a secluded place to relax and unwind. The Carriage House is located on the same property as the Grace Manor Inn, but is decorated in a more contemporary style with blonde wooden floors, brightly painted walls and modern furniture from EQ3 in Carytown.

Its large, turquoise bedroom is appointed with a queen-sized, platform bed, a desk with Internet access, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a television. This suite also includes a high-quality, twin-sized rollaway bed, which enables a third guest to stay in this suite for an additional $35 per night.
The bathroom has an original claw foot tub with a shower ring attached above.
The brightly painted yellow living room has a comfortable red suede sofa, chair, bamboo coffee table and television. It also features custom light fixtures on each end of the sofa for those who enjoy reading.
The dining room is painted red to induce appetite, heart rate, passion and energy. However, you won't need much motivation, as the restaurants in the surrounding Fan Neighborhood are incredible!
The Carriage House also has a small kitchen with a gas stove, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. It comes fully equipped with cookware and dishes for those who like to dine in occasionally.

The balcony located just outside of the front door has a small wrought iron table and chairs overlooking the gardens. This is a lovely spot for an early morning beverage at our Richmond Bed and Breakfast.
Breakfast is served in the main house just a few steps away. And of course, the Carriage House does include the same amenities as all of our other suites.
