With the threat of snow finally gone, the first signs of Spring are starting to show. Squirrels have crawled out of their wintery nests, gray skies have given way to the sun and finally the trees have begun to flower and bud.
This Saturday April 4th, celebrate the birth of another Spring at the first annual VCU Cherry Blossom Festival. There will be martial arts performances, traditional Japanese dance, taiko drums, kimonos, origami and more. The event will take place outside the VCU Commons Plaza from 2-4 pm. The event is FREE!
Come celebrate a tradition in the making!
