Who doesn’t enjoy a good love story? Well, dust off the cover to your old high school copy of Much Ado About Nothing and head on down to Agecroft Hall for an evening of mystery, intrigue and, of course, plenty of witty dialogue.
The Richmond Shakespeare Company is kicking off their 17th summer festival with Much Ado About Nothing (June 4-28) and ending with Hamlet (July 9-August 2).
Tickets are $30 or $15 for students. Arrive early and stroll through the lush English-style gardens or take a tour of the house, while you’re waiting. Agecroft Hall is an authentic 16th century Tudor style home brought over from England. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the lawn and enjoy songs and monologues from the Festival Young Company actors. The play starts at 7:30pm in the courtyard.
