What is art? I would say, it is an expression- a conversation between the artist and the audience. It’s a moment frozen in time. Richmond’s InLight project is the perfect paradigm of that idea- that art, like life, is beatiful, mysterious and fleeting.
InLight is a one-night-only, outdoor, light-based performance and art event. 30+ local and national artists will decorate the trees, pathways, benches and buildings of Monroe Park with their larger than life illuminated pieces. This event will feature a community lantern parade, live performances, sculpture, large-format projections, and interactive projects.
InLight will begin at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 21st. Get there early if you want to find parking!
