Halloween Howliday- festive fun for fido!

With Halloween less than two weeks away, there is plenty going on around the city to help you get in the holiday mood. This weekend, take fido out on the town to enjoy either of these two dog-friendly events that should be fun for both you and your pooch:

Dogma’s pet costume contest: Saturday, October 25th from 2:30-4:00 pm. Handmade or store-bought, the people at Dogma love doggies and they love costumes! There will be cash prizes and goodies for each participant. The contest is a part of the annual Carytown “Scarytown” event. There will be trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving and a zombie walk as well that afternoon and evening.

Halloween Howl in Forest Hill Park: Sunday, October 26th from 1:00-3:00 pm. Enter your dog in the annual Forest Hill Halloween costume contest! Parade around the neighborhood, eat some Halloween snacks and play a couple games. Admission is free. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories. For more information, visit:
