Bugs Bunny at the Symphony

Growing up, my Saturday and Sunday mornings would typically be spent in front of the TV, with a rather large bowl of cereal, watching one cartoon after another until it was finally warm enough to go play outside. In the wake of reality TV shows, I’m afraid that tradition has sadly been lost on this generation of kids.

This Saturday, May 16, grab the kiddos, head over to the Altria theater and introduce them to a beloved classic as the Richmond Symphony performs- Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II. Looney Tunes will be projected onto a big screen while the symphony performs such iconic scores as: What’s Opera, Doc?, The Rabbit of Seville, Rhapsody Rabbit, Long-Haired Hare, Duck Amuck and many others. There will be two brand-new, critically-acclaimed 3D cartoons from Warner Bros.—I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat and Coyote Falls.

Tickets range: $12-$60. The show starts at 6:00 PM.
