It’s November- a frustratingly difficult truth to accept. December is almost here, meaning, Christmas is well on it’s way. If you’re at all like myself, you’re stubbornly dragging your feet to start up the whirlwind of baking, decorating and buying that comes with the holiday season.
Inbetween shopping trips to the mall and the grocery store for more chocolate chips, why not take a load off and visit the Bizzare Market?
Unlike the superstores of your local strip mall, the Market is comprised of handmade items from over 50 local artisans and craftsman. Every item on display is assembled and packaged with care. Vendors range from needle-felted animals to screen-printed cards/towels/posters, jewelry to hand-crafted soaps, pottery to hand-stitched hats, bags and clothing.
The Bizarre Market runs November 28th to December 24th. You can find the Market upstairs in Chop Suey Books at 2913 W. Cary Street. 10 am-7 pm.
