Looking for a little cultural refinement? Look no further than Carytown. This Sunday, February 29, is the 2nd annual Mozart Festival.
From 12 pm-11 pm, there will be free performances and kid-friendly events in shops and restaurants all around Carytown. There will be a cello performance at Babe’s at 2 pm. There will be an instrument-building workshop for kids outside Dixie Donuts using fresh fruits and veggies from Relay foods at 1 pm! There will be a lecture on Mozart’s life and accomplishments at Plan 9 Music at 2 pm. At 7 pm, people will pack into the Can Can Brasserie for a performance of Mozart’s greatest hits with a full orchestra and arias. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
